Plumber in Camas, WA

Your Plumber for all your needs in Camas WA

Camas is really two housing markets in one city, and the plumbing reflects that. The older part of town near the mill and downtown has homes dating back generations, on smaller lots, with the original plumbing routes still in place and often several rounds of repair layered on top. Up on Prune Hill and out toward Grass Valley the homes are considerably newer and larger, with more fixtures, more bathrooms and more complex manifolds and recirculation systems to go wrong.

The work is genuinely different between the two. Downtown, the questions are usually about aging supply lines, drain lines that have been patched before, and whether a repair is worth doing on its own or whether it makes more sense as part of a bathroom or kitchen project you were already considering. On the hill, the calls tend to be water heaters, tankless service, recirculation pumps and fixture work in homes where a small leak can travel a long way before anyone notices it.

Camas homes are served by the city's own water system and city sewer, so most of our Camas work is inside the house. What we bring to either kind of home is the same thing: we tell you what is actually wrong, we give you the repair and replace options with prices attached, and we do not oversell a project to a house that needs a part.

FAQs for Camas homeowners

Have a question? click here!
Do you service tankless water heaters?

Yes, including repair, descaling and replacement. Tankless units are common in the newer Camas homes and they do need periodic service, particularly descaling. A unit that has never been serviced will usually show it in reduced hot water output before it fails outright.

My hot water takes forever to arrive. Can that be fixed?

Often yes. In larger Camas homes the fixture is simply a long way from the water heater. A recirculation system solves it, and if you already have one that stopped working, the pump or its timer is usually the culprit rather than the heater.

Should I repair or replace an old fixture?

Depends on the fixture and what is behind it. In older downtown homes, we look at the supply lines and shutoffs feeding it too, since those are frequently the parts actually near failure. We will give you both options with prices rather than deciding for you.

Can you work around a remodel schedule?

Yes. A lot of our Camas work is remodel plumbing, and that means coordinating with other trades and hitting the window between demolition and drywall. Give us the schedule and we will tell you honestly whether we can hit it.
